UK Crokinole Championship 2024

We're very excited to be back at UKGE for the third running of the UK Crokinole Championship. This is the final stop in Season 1 of the Crokinole UK Tour, so will confirm both our 3rd UK Champion and the first ever Tour Champion!

Crokinole is a historic Canadian dexterity game where you flick discs on a circular board attempting to score higher than your opponent, removing their discs and protecting your own, or hitting the middle hole for 20 points. The game has seen a resurgence in recent years, thanks in no small part to this video from Shut Up & Sit Down.

It's a fantastic game which takes just minutes to learn, but offers a huge depth of skill and strategy to players who want to find it.

Final structure is TBC, but expect a first round lasting approximately 2 hours, followed by a lunch break, then a second round, before the knockout stages will decide our 2024 champion! Multiple world champion Brian Cook has been victorious in both of the previous years, but with the standard in the UK continuing to rise, will someone else take the top spot this time?

Players of any age or level of experience are very welcome to take part, but just be aware that as we have to keep the event running to time we will be following the National Crokinole Association (NCA) timing for singles of 8 minutes per match (4 games each match), so please ensure you are able to play at this pace.

All entrants will require at least a Saturday ticket to the Expo in addition to their tournament ticket and the entire Expo is therefore available to you whenever you are not playing.
