The Duncan Rhodes Ultimate Edition Hobby Case has received community input to improve the design & functionality of the case, since the original design launched at UKGE-24. The addition of accessories trays to hold bits-n-bobs, a water jar, dimple pallet and a space for tools was the result of both the painting community and passionate gamers looking for an all-in-one case to hold both minis in the process of being painted, as well as paints and brushes. 

The innovative Mechi system to hold minis for safe transport uses a combination of O'rings, carbon fibre and ABS plastic modules. The O'ring gently holds the mini without causing any damage to the miniature or paintwork.

Tanks and minis without bases can be transported with a combination of Mechi travel-locks and our special Mechi-Mesh and clips. The travel locks can be turned open or closed with the special “chopstick” tool hidden underneath the removable paint brush holder.

Mechi Cases are a high quality, Australian-made solution that offers a hybrid of display and transport of minis. The partnership with Duncan Rhodes (made possible by attending UKGE in 2023) has embraced the hybrid application of carrying paints as well as the current project or minis being painted.
