IN THE BEGINNING, THE IMMORTAL WAS STRANGLED AND LEFT TO ROT IN A SHALLOW GRAVE.
Now, Heall is full, the dead roam free, and the Church of the Divine Corpse seeks to root out heresy...

Welcome to Doomsong, a Roleplay Macabre that transports you to a nation of saints and sinners, of foul heresy and undying devotion. Within this tome, a grim world of medieval horror awaits. Players will find themselves navigating a land poised between two extremes: the Ecclesiarchy's justice and order on one side and the silken allure of heresy and power on the other.

This tabletop roleplaying game includes:

  •
  • Choose-your-own-adventure style character creation (create meaningful backstories in minutes!)
  • Unique combat (combines initiative and combat actions!)
  • Push-your-luck mechanics (flip the cursed Doomcoin… if you dare!)
  • Heretical abilities, a pantheon of terrible gods, and much more!
  • An index!!
  • Hundreds of hand-inked, medieval style illustrations by Moritz Krebs!

Who will you serve? There is the church of a dead god, who answers no prayers and performs no miracles. There are also Traitor Gods, who gather souls and cults to their bosom with promises of power. Or... will you dare to put your head above the head of a serpent, and instead serve only yourself?

AND LO, THE GM MADE A NOTE OF THEIR INJURIES, RECORDING WHO SUFFERED THE BLOW
and, skipping forward D6 days, when the damage would heal.

Notes are extremely important to the tabletop experience, but that doesn't mean they should be complicated or difficult to use. We've created a diary that allows Doomsong GMs to organise their notes in the same way a person would organise their week: with a diary.

This tabletop roleplaying game accessory includes:

  • Random weather tables! Each week is unique and the tables help convey the change of season
  • Time-sensitive heresy!
  • Doomsong-specific holidays, prayers, astrological events and more - to make worldbuilding easy!
  • Space for notes!
  • A graphic to tick off days, helping you track the passage of time!

This diary slots into your tabletop experience as easily as a desk diary slots into your workday. Only… this calendar isn't reminding you of that upcoming dentist appointment or the board meeting at 12. It's telling you that Blighted Moon rises tonight, so the insects will be swarming when you make camp; or today is the Ecclesiarch's official birthday, so feasts and banquets abound across the land; or today's eclipse is sacred to Joy, so dancing in front of a righteous Church official might get you burnt at the stake.
