Child Safeguarding
Keeping Our Little One's Safe
The UK Games Expo takes the safeguarding of children very seriously.
Contact Information:
The safeguarding officer for the event can be reached at the Help Desk in either Hall 2 or Hall 3 of the NEC.
Important Information for Parents/Carers:
This is a family-friendly event, and we warmly welcome families. However, it is crucial to understand that our organisation does not engage with children without the presence of their parents or carers. Parents and caregivers are responsible for their children's welfare throughout the event, including in the Family Zone.
Lost and Found Procedure:
We have established a procedure for handling lost children. To prepare for the event, we recommend establishing a security word with your child. This will facilitate a swift reunion if they are found, ensuring that we return children to their rightful guardians.
If a child becomes lost, responsible adults should notify the nearest volunteer in a yellow shirt, a blue-shirted ambassador, or a green-shirted team leader, who will then activate the Lost Child Policy.
Lost Child Collection Points:
Lost child points are located at the Front Entrance Help Desk in Hall 2 and at the event desk in Hall 3.
