The job:
- Learning multiple board games before the UKGE takes place.
- Attracting people to your stand to demonstrate board games.
- Demonstrating gameplay and answering questions about the games.
- Liaising with the exhibiting company on demonstration requirements.

We are looking for paid demonstrators available to work on all 3 days of UK Games Expo: Friday 30 May 2025 to Sunday 1 June 2025.
We offer three work patterns:
- Full-Time (27 hours). You will be required to work on the exhibitor stands, demonstrating games during trade hall opening hours on all 3 days. You will get 45 minutes lunch break on all 3 days.
- Part-Time (23 hours). You will be required to work on the exhibitor stands demonstrating games during trade hall opening hours on all 3 days but will get one-half day off to enjoy the show. You will get 45 minutes lunch break on the other 2 days.
- Extended Hours (28+ hours). In addition to working on the show days of Friday to Saturday, some exhibitors ask for assistance with setup and the show preview on Thursday, and we can offer Full-time and Part-time options where you also work on Thursday afternoon or evening.
In all cases, the hours shown include 2 hours before the UK Games Expo for you to learn the games you will demonstrate at the show.
Payment
You will be paid based on the current UK Minimum Wage of £11.44* an hour. (*subject to government budgetary changes)
You will be paid by bank transfer after the UK Games Expo. Your bank details will be collected at the show.
Other benefits
Exhibitor passes for the entire show will be provided.
You will be offered accommodation based on sharing a twin room on Friday 30 May 2025 and Saturday 31 May 2025 (and Thursday night if you work the extended hours). Alternatively, an equivalent room allowance can be claimed for organising your own accommodation (subject to prior approval and presentation of receipts). In some cases, as bedroom capacity on the NEC site is limited, you may be asked to take this option
You will be provided with food vouchers to obtain a meal from the Street Food vendors at the Hilton Hotel.
