Prexaria Fell
Description
The Regent of Prexaria Fell has summoned the ruling families to their grandiose, crumbling manse for three days of feasting, masquerade, and politicking over the uncertain future of their once-great city-state.
Will you play a powerful noble, certain of the Regent's favour? A minor upstart cousin with something to prove? A put-upon servant, about to break? A member of a secret society with your own nefarious agenda? A spy from a neighbouring nation, determined to undermine the delicate balance of power? The Regent themselves?
Whatever's in the cards for you, we'll play to decide your fate. Whether you rise or fall – and Prexaria Fell along with you.
Interpret the cards to tell the story
Spindlewheel by Sasha Reneau (Teacabbage Games) uses an original deck of beautiful, poetic oracle cards to spin a world, characters, and action at the table.
We'll interpret a spread of cards to create our table's unique version of the teetering Gothic magnificence that is Prexaria Fell. Those cards then become our Arbiter deck.
We'll draft and interpret cards to make our characters. Those cards will become our hands – essentially our character sheets.
When roleplaying starts, anchoring an action by playing a relevant card from your hand makes that action significant to the story. Each scene, we'll build threads of overlapping cards, playing from our hands when our characters take action, drawing from the deck or the Arbiter to answer questions about the world, and trading cards as our characters' relationships deepen.
