A Little Party Never Fractured Nobody

Play out your own episode of the 90s-2000s sci-fi TV show Farscape in a group storytelling game that uses a hack of the Powered by the Apocalypse system. You don’t need to know Farscape to play; you can happily join in just knowing that Farscape was a somewhat crazy show that forced a group of mismatched heroes to balance their own survival with the fight for what they perceived to be right, in a universe that blended science with mysticism and that dealt with the grim nature of events with a dark sense of humour.

In this episode, your group of exiles set down on the festival planet of Kroywen, keen to get some respite from the trial that is just trying to survive in the Uncharted Territories. The sun never sets on a party on Kroywen and you were happy as a gandor pig in its own muck, until a group of revellers started hassling you. It started off innocently enough, inquisitive aliens asking what it's like to be you, to see through those eyes, dance with those legs. But then they offered each of you a tray of kelvic crystals if you let one of them spend one solar day as you. Of course you turned down such a frodank idea, but their wild eyes and fahrbot grins let you know they weren’t going to give up so easily. 

The rules hack adds a ‘trust’ mechanic, to account for the trouble working together that a group of misfits with their own agendas always had in Farscape. 

And there will be a tourists’ guide to speaking (and swearing) in alien languages, should that take your fancy.
