The Wyverns Nest

This cave network is full of chemical overflows and valuable ore veins, and was previously mined by the Undergem Clan until a wyvern took nest here.  A colony of Devil Ants was released, and now they work to expand their hive.

Your company of Cryptdiggers has been hired to clear out a cave system so that mining can resume.  Previously a wyvern moved in, killed miners and built a nest; then a hoard of Devil Ants killed the wyvern and are building a hive. Now you are being sent in to kill the Devil Ants, destroy their hive and hope to be paid handsomely for your troubles.  And if you die? Well, there are plenty more Cryptdiggers in the company.

Best Left Buried is a fantasy game where the monsters are scary but the characters are be clever - they wouldn't survive long in the company if they weren't. Within the Crypt, you will be beset by strange monsters, bizarre environments and eldritch magics, which will take characters on their journey from fresh faced recruits to grizzled survivors.  Expect some family friendly horror.

Game is played using D6s, character creation is snappy and can be done at the table, I'll be using an X card and will check in at the start if the players want me to avoid anything.
