Juliette Burton is an award-winning comedian, writer, presenter, mental health activist and journalist. She has previously performed seven critically acclaimed solo shows across nine seasons (When I Grow Up, Look At Me, Decision Time, Butterfly Effect, Defined, No Brainer, Hopepunk) from 2013 to 2024 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She has had total sold out seasons for five years at the Edinburgh Fringe (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023).
She has performed at Festivals around the world including Leicester Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and New Zealand International Comedy Festival. In 2015 Juliette won the Argus Angel Award at Brighton Fringe for Look At Me and Voice Magazine Pick of the Fringe in 2017 for Butterfly Effect.
In 2024, Juliette was shortlisted for the Disability Power 100 and presented the livestream of the awards ceremony. In 2024 and 2023 she was selected as Mervyn Stutter's Pick of the Fringe at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She's been listed amongst the funniest one-liners by The Telegraph, the Funniest Jokes of Edinburgh Fringe by Evening Standard, Funniest Jokes at Edinburgh Fringe by the iPaper, was The Sunday Times Culture Pick in 2018, amongst The Times Best of Edinburgh Festivals 2018 and The Telegraph's Rising Stars.

Juliette’s TV and radio credits include The One Show (BBC1), This Morning (ITV), Skin Deep and Feeling Kind of Funny (both BBC Scotland), BBC At Edinburgh Festivals (BBC iPlayer), BBC Tomorrow’s World and Afternoon Edition (BBC Radio 5 Live). She was also listed by The Telegraph in 2019 as one of the top 10 audiobook narrators alongside Stephen Fry, Emma Thompson and Steve Coogan.
As a writer, Juliette has contributed to The Independent, i Newspaper, Cosmopolitan and BBC News. She is an ambassador for mental health charity ReThink Mental Illness, regular writer for research charity MQ Mental Health and close supporter of Chasing the Stigma, MindOut, Mermaids, Black Minds Matter, Switchboard, Mind and B-eat amongst other charities. She is also a founding member of The Speakers Collective.
