GIC: Games Industry Conference
A new UK based professional conference
The organisers of the UK Games Expo are pleased to announce the launch of a new UK based games industry professional conference.
This is aimed at retailers, publishers, designers, distributors, licensing and brand executives and game cafes.
The first event will be held on Monday 15th February 2021 at the Hilton Metropole Hotel at the NEC.
Games Industry Conference (G.I.C.) aims to provide a focal point for the tabletop games industry in the UK.
This meeting aims to support the industry, grow the marketplace and disseminate knowledge and expertise.
G.I.C. will feature these key elements:
A) Retailer Summit. Publishers present their titles and future plans to buyers, retailers and distributors with the opportunity for demonstrations.
B) Games Industry business track where industry figures present seminars and workshops on key aspects of the tabletop games industry.
C) Opportunities for industry networking. Ample opportunity during registration, coffee breaks and over lunch to make new contacts and network. There will also be potential for 1:1 meetings and breakout sessions and an informal games evening.
Ticket Price for attendees and publisher pitches will be confirmed by May 2020 and will include tea and coffee throughout the day as well as breakfast and lunch.

The UKGE Directors will give a seminar about the GIC at the UK Games Expo 2020 on Thursday 28th May after the Show Preview in the Cartamundi Theatre at approx. 9pm.
