In the game, players will experience being a sect Leader in a world of conflicting beliefs. You must utilize the action cards at your disposal to strategize your moves. Apart from recruiting believer cards to strengthen your influence, you must also engage in attacks to restrain or absorb the forces of other hostile players. Additionally, the game incorporates a unique surrender mechanism. When a player loses all their believer cards, they are not eliminated from the game. Instead, they must seek out other players to surrender to and pledge allegiance, becoming a Follower of other players and cooperating with them. However, the loyalty is not absolute. Even after surrendering, the Follower player can secretly grow their influence and attempt to betray, staging a comeback.

Regardless, after enduring various treacherous calculations, at the end of the game, as long as you manage to have the most believer cards, you will be the sole winner.
