Ares Games at UK Games Expo, with The Thing, Quartermaster General 1914, Sword & Sorcery, and more

Ares Games will be back to UK Games Expo this year, with their latest releases - The Thing: The Board Game and Quartermaster General: 1914. After two years not at the show, they also bring with them the last Kickstarter copies of Sword & Sorcery Ancient Chronicles, a host of recent releases, and their “evergreen” lines, War of the Ring and Wings of Glory.

The Thing - The Board Game is an intense game experience based on the 1982 cult movie by John Carpenter. In this "hidden role" game, one player is initially the Thing and the other players are humans. They must cooperate to survive – but who is really on their side?

Quartermaster General: 1914 is the new release in the Quartermaster General strategy games series by Ian Brody, simulating WW1 in Europe with card-driven game mechanics reflecting the military, economy, and politics of the time.

At Ares Games’ booth, attendees will also have the chance to get the last copies of the recent Sword & Sorcery Kickstarter release, Ancient Chronicles, including all the components of this new cycle: three campaign sets, new Heroes, multiple accessories, and additional miniatures, to make your dungeon crawls even more challenging.
