Celebrating 25 Years in a Most Unusual Year

This year, CATAN celebrated its 25th anniversary.

It’s not the anniversary year anyone envisioned, but even though we could not hold the events or gatherings we planned, we can’t be anything but grateful for our amazing community and the ways you came together while being apart.

We saw so many heartwarming photos and videos of gamers playing CATAN virtually over video conference calls and online while they couldn’t gather together.

We were thrilled that so many people were turning to games during their lockdowns that we created a #StayAndPlay programme to encourage folks to stay home and play games.

Our newest release was just recently announced: CATAN – First Adventure, a full print-and-play game perfect for kids and families.

We’ve also marvelled at the way shows and conventions have been so innovative, creative and nimble, putting on events in brand new ways in just a few short months. It was nothing short of incredible.

Thank you to UK Games Expo for working so hard to put together a show that could be enjoyed by all.

We were also pleased to release three new titles this year: CATAN – Legend of the Conquerors, CATAN – 25th Anniversary Edition, and the CATAN – Starfarers 5-6 Player Extension.
