Ares Games brings previews, demos, and special events to UKGE 2024

Ares Games will be at UK Games Expo 2024 presenting a preview of Fire and Swords, the upcoming expansion for War of the Ring – The Card Game featuring epic battles in Northern Middle-earth and adding new factions to the game. Visitors to the Ares stand will also have the chance to be among the first to experience Altay – Dawn of Civilization, a new game mixing deck-building, civilization development, and area expansion, coming in the second half of the year.

Ares will bring to the show a giant version of Quartermaster General: East Front, the first 2-player game using the popular Quartermaster General game system, as well as the amazing dice management game Pyramidice, which takes players to Ancient Egypt as eminent architects challenged to construct the greatest Pyramid ever seen.

Ares’ stand will host demos and special events: don’t miss the Third Battle of Birmingham, a large-scale participation event for the WW1 Wings of Glory, our WW1 airplane miniature game using beautiful pre-painted models. New players will be welcome – Ares’ demo crew will assist everyone in entering the battle within minutes, and an airplane miniature will be provided to the participants to play with.
