Welcome to the page of SWS. Since starting as an after school group at Priory Boys School, Shrewsbury Wargames Society has evolved over the years into a club dedicated to recreating, educating and keeping alive local and world history in all miniature forms.

Meeting every Mondayand Friday at 7pm and on at least one weekend a month we play a wide range of both Fantasy and Historical wargames across all periods, including all of Science Fiction settings, alternative histories and even board games. If you want to play it, we do too! With open tables and plenty of friendly faces all you need to bring is yourself to ensure a warm welcome.

We are based on the north side of Shrewsbury less than five miles from the site of the battlefield of 1403 with plenty of parking but if you ever need a lift please shout.
