Preston Board Gamers

We're a Preston based gaming community of non-traditional board and card games.

If you've never played anything except Monopoly before then never fear. We're a welcoming bunch, happy to teach any newcomers and help them enjoy the world of board gaming! We play a broad range of games, from social games like Blood On The Clock Tower, to worker placement games such as Dune Imperium.

You don't need to bring anything along, as most peeps bring some games from their own collections, although more games is never a bad thing, and gives us more choice. We make sure everyone is included and has a game to play.

We’ve been meeting since August 2013, and currently meet every Monday at Jalgos Sports and Social Club, Rose Street, PR1 3XY. We meet upstairs in the function room, which is to the left of the bar, through the door near the pool table. One of the staff members will be able to direct you if you get a bit lost, or one of the gamers can meet you outside to show you where we'll be gaming.

Games start at 7:00pm with the aim of finishing around 11pm.

Please note the venue is cash only. No card payments.

Much of the area has free on street parking after 6pm, including right outside the venue, but there are also a number of paid car parks nearby as well.

It's free to attend Preston Board Gamers, but we ask that you buy a few drinks whilst playing games to support the venue.
