We are a casual gaming group that run a weekly games night playing a wide variety of games.

We are a casual gaming group which means we do not require members to turn up every week to keep their place in the club. We meet every Wednesday evening (7PM to 11PM) in the function room of the King's Head in Warrington, to play board games, chat and socialise. The function room is located at the rear of the pub and accessed by following the corridor to the side of the bar.

As modern board gamers we're often asked  'what type of games do we play' - you won't find monopoly, scrabble etc being played as these are “traditional” boardgames. We play “hobby” boardgames, a good starting point would be to check out TableTop on YouTube. It's an online TV show that gives a great overview of the types of games we play at the club.

We use the MEETUP website & app to arrange our games each week (see link further down), take a look at the comments section for an upcoming Wednesday, and you'll see the games available to play. If you see something you fancy, comment on it to let the game host know you want join the game. Alternatively you can turn up on the night to see what games are on offer, but availability will vary and sometimes there may not be any open spaces left. You are also more than welcome to bring your own games along and post them up on the comments section specifying how many open spots you have for people to join as this helps members to track when a game has become full. If you're still unsure about what to play, message an organiser and we'll point you in the right direction, introduce you to other members, and answer any questions you may have.

Our rules are simple: To cover the use of the function room everyone must buy a drink from the bar, be responsible, respectful, and most importantly, have fun!

Member fees to cover Meetup costs are £5 every six months, and are collected around April and September.

We hope to see you soon!
