An impawssibly fun two-player board game launching at UKGE
The Fable of Mabel on the Witch’s Table brings naughtiness, cuteness and unmitigated chaos to UKGE this year! This two-player board game asks you to do the impawssible: give a cat instructions.
Designed by the father-daughter team behind party card game Betty Two Bricks, this mix of strategy and take-that fun launches on BackerKit on 30 May. We are currently refining the gameplay but you can be sure of a hiss-terical time come the Expo.
In a simple tug-of-war battle, you must herd Mabel the Cat across the board so she can push magical trinkets off a witch’s table. Each fallen knickknack gets you points but don’t go feline smug as some thingamajigs can subtract from your score.
We all know cats. Commands are mere suggestions to their fluffy ears. It will be hard to purr-suade Mabel to pounce when your opponent plays the cat nap card. But don’t waste too much time. Cat-astrophe looms as soon, the owner of the table shall return and they’ll not be pleased by all the mess (Mabel’s too cute to blame).
Join us on Stand 3-654 for your chance to play a life-sized version of the game with giant cat paws to push the pieces!
