Sinister Fish Games news
A game of card drafting and village building
Sinister Fish Games is live on Kickstarter with Villagers, a game of card drafting and village building for 1-5 players. The game funded in 3 hours and is currently working through stretch goals.
As a village founder you'll invite people from all walks of life to come and work in your expanding community. If you can recruit the right people to form lucrative production chains while balancing your food production and building capacity, your village will become the most prosperous and you'll win the game! In the challenging solo mode, a lone village must prosper against the machinations of the very ill-tempered Countess. This formidable AI opponent doesn’t play by the rules, and has a bag of very dirty tricks in store, in the form of her Summer and Winter event cards.
Sinister Fish will be running demo games of Villagers at UKGE (on stand 1-G3) for anyone interested in trying their hand at competitive village building. Game designer Haakon Gaarder is flying in to Birmingham from his native Norway to help show off the game, and will be demoing for most of the event.
