Dized Update

Some news from Playmore Games about Dized.

Dized has some incredible announcements that we’d hate you to miss!

Throughout this campaign, we have announced an eclectic catalog of titles: from gateway games such as Carcassonne and King Domino to more complex and thematic titles like Blood Rage and Scythe. One of the most popular questions we’ve received is: "How will Dized break down the rules and explain the complexity of these heavier games?"

Well, now we can show you. Here is a small sneak peek of the Scythe tutorial. We're incredibly proud of this as not only does it highlight the amazing artwork of artist Jakub Rozalski but also the breadth of what Dized can accomplish. This small clip also shows how through the use of music, voiceover, and animation our Tutorials will seamlessly immerse you into the lore and mood of each game's world as you learn to play.

The focus on the Encounter Cards allows us to demonstrate how Dized interprets the complexity of the numerous actions you contend with during a turn. After a player makes a choice, Dized shows and tells what the rewards are for that action, where to place resources on the board and makes sure you don't miss anything.

Discussing with Jamey Stegmaier (designer of the game), and from the input of our in-house team of developers, will allow us to highlight areas where players are often overlooking rules or bookkeeping tasks. And now with Dized, these will never be missed again.

7 Wonders is also a title that we've been honored to announce, and while it may not represent as a complex a game system as Scythe, it still includes many moving parts during each round.

As demonstrated, you can see how Dized resolves the end of an age and specifically the tracking of the military conflicts between each of the cities.

We’re incredibly excited to be able to show you the amazing work our team is already accomplishing on the titles we’ve announced. Feel free to tell us what situations in these games are hard to remember or figure out. What are your most overlooked rules?
