Gavin Birnbaum talks about QE
New wooden family game.
A fiendishly clever bidding game by Gavin Birnbaum.
Family game from age 8. 4 players. 45 minutes.
Financial crisis has occurred. 16 'too big to fail' companies must be bailed out. Money will be printed, but print too much and you go bust.
You play the role of a national central bank (think Bank of England). Using your unlimited amount of credit, you will battle to grow your economy by buying up companies that could potentially release valuable 'end of game' bonuses.
After 4 rounds of 'cut and thrust' bidding, the size of each players economy is calculated.
Then, in a tense finale, the player who printed the most money is revealed, they suffer hyperinflation and lose all their victory points.
Lovingly hand made in his London workshop, Gavin estimates that 30 copies of his beautiful wooden game will be ready in time for the show. Pre-order by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
