Game of Blame
New Game on demo
Warm Acre are exhibiting their new card game which will be appear on Kickstarter later this month.
Game of Blame is set in the treacherous, crisis-laden world of a royal court, a setting that will be familiar to fans of TV shows such as The Borgias, The Tudors and Game of Thrones.
You take on the role of an advisor to a very unhappy Queen. Her realm is in chaos and she’s looking for someone to punish. The only way you’ll keep your job (and your head) is by blaming everyone else for your mess!
Each advisor’s remit covers specific issues – the General is responsible for matters of war, the Archbishop for faith, the Spymaster for security, and so on. During the game you can hurl accusations at the other players, bury your guilty secrets or even change your job – anything to avoid taking the rap and meeting the executioner!
Game designer Richard Wolfrik Galland says, “The game has a strong theme with rules that are fairly simple and fast-paced to capture the cut-throat feel. It’s a shed-your-cards game, a bit like ‘cheat’ but with more sneaky options at your disposal.”
Everyone who plays Game of Blame over the weekend can leave their details to be given early notification of the Kickstarter and entered into a prize draw. Come and try it first and meet the designers at stand C18.
